Position Overview
ESI Electrical Solutions, Inc. is a leading Wisconsin electrical contractor with a strong presence in both residential and commercial sectors. With operations in Madison, we are searching for a Lead Journeyman Electrician to join our growing company.
This individual will lead teams of 2-5 electricians, manage electrical projects, assign tasks to ensure projects are completed accurately and safely, and possess excellent communication skills. They will be able to read and interpret blueprints and excel at creative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities

​Manage and guide teams comprising 2-5 electricians.

Interpret blueprints for job site planning and execution.

Design and plan job layouts for projects ranging in complexity and size.

Plan necessary equipment, procedures, and training.

Execute the installation and layout of conduit systems, diverse lighting systems, and fundamental control system feeders.

Install motor feeders and establish standard motor connections.

Perform field designs and surveys as required.

Respond to service calls, efficiently diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.

Uphold and promote job site safety protocols.

Ensure a secure job site environment, and adhere strictly to OSHA standards, company policies, and specific customer safety guidelines.

Deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Our employees may travel within our service area but return home each evening.

Journeyman’s License
-
Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
